It is hard to imagine the President of the United States would deliberately jeopardize the safety and security of all of us and indeed the world. That is exactly what the naïve action our government has taken with its obsessive agreement with Iran. It is feckless, disturbing and reckless.
The government of Iran is an outlaw. They support terror in the Middle East, and around the world. They have a national proclamation to wipe out Israel. They cannot be trusted, no matter what the documents say. It is simply beyond reason to think otherwise. Providing funds to them, lifting the embargo and allowing them back in the military arms market cannot under any circumstances I can think of be the way to proceed.
I do not have the answer on how to deal with a rogue nation bent on acquiring nuclear weapons but I do not believe this is the right action. I also do not know the motivations of Mr. Obama but I can look at his track record of actions and inactions in dealing with the Muslim and mid-eastern world to help form my opinion.
For Iran, this is an easy one. Get our dough, get to sell more oil, get some more guns, and continue to try to make nukes in secret. Make a deal with the United States while Mr. Obama is in office, as the next guy would never agree to this caper. Oh by the way, we can still support and promote chaos and misery where ever we want.
I usually do not comment on these types of matters but I find this development frightening.
This will indeed be a legacy to remember.
