Today is my birthday, the best day of the year for me. I know--ego, but not really. Just an appreciation of life, being alive. Having the opportunity to say thanks to my beloved family and friends who remember.
Happy Birthday, Jack
Administration: It is hard to grade the Administration but of the multiple missteps, the erratic behavior of Mr. Trump and the self-inflected political blunders. In certain, the Administration is making needed progress in certain areas but has failed or make progress on any major legislative initiative. The entire Russian-Comey-battle royal with the press-fill in the blank scandal could have been fill in the blank could have been avoided with a bit of common sense and political foresight. Mr Trump needs to stop being so sensitive and feling slighted at every move and get off the stupid twitter. Grade: Down to D plus.
Senate: Republicans are in the drivers seat have failed to move the needle on almost everything except The Gorsch nomination. Where are the votes on tax reform, health care, spending, Rolling back Obama regulation has been a plus but not enough.back seat. Venom and obstruction from the liberals is not productive for the country The country expect action, not excuses. Grade: Grade C
House: The House has moved somethings along, including the roll back of regulations. Did at least vote on health care, even though a bit awkward. regulation Tax Bill passage is a must. Remaining Grade : Grade B
I have developed a three-part series on what is wrong with the tax system and suggestions to fix it. Not your usual plan but one making choices to improve the system. Become tax czar with me for a day and suggest your changes with some unexpected ideas.
