Today is my Birthday: I am thrilled to have another!

Today is my birthday. It occurs in a month which is celebrated almost every day as the birthday month. In years past the monthly celebration was exhausting but I have learned to temper myself.  

I have many things for which to be grateful. I think everyday-no matter what the circumstances, what the problems is a gift and a blessed day. It is the only attitude that keeps me getting up every day. Stretching out, reaching for the sky.  I have also been blessed  in my life with many people whom I cherish, love,  have loved and have made a difference to me. 

I hope everyone can have a happy birthday. It is a day for reflection, assessment and the pure joy of living. 

For those of you that have read my writings, thank you for your support and comments. 

Now on to the birthday!

  • National Debt: Does not matter anymore
    The federal debt continues to grow with increases of billions each day. This does not seem to concern either political party, particularly in this time of pandemic mania. Perhaps, it is ll necessary but at some point there will be consequences that deserve some thought.

  • Political Report Card
    Now that Mr. Trump and has been in office almost three years , here are the latest grades for our government,

    Administration: The multiple missteps, the erratic behavior of Mr. Trump plus the self-inflected political blunders continue. He has likely doomed his re-election. Mr Trump needs to stop being so sensitive and feeling slighted at every move and get off the stupid twitter. Grade: D plus.

    Senate: Republicans are in the drivers seat have failed to move the needle on almost everything except judicial nominations. Venom and obstruction from the liberals is not productive for the country Grade: Grade D

    House: The House is a partisan and nasty pit Grade : Grade F
